FAQ
Questions about the hook set
Does it count stitches automatically?
No. You press S when you finish a stitch and R when you finish a row. That keeps the count accurate, even when you set the hook down.
Does it remember the count after I switch it off?
Yes. Both counts stay saved when it powers off, so a project put away mid-row picks up where it stopped. If you press by mistake, hold the button for 1 second to take one away, or 3 seconds to reset the count.
Which tips light up?
Only the 6 clear tips for chunky yarn, 9.0 to 14.0 mm, light up. The LED shines through them and lights up the loop you’re working into. The 12 metal tips, 2.0 to 8.0 mm, don’t light up, but the counter works with all 18.
Is it good for beginners?
Yes. The counter fixes the most common beginner mistake, which is losing count. And the wide size range means you won’t outgrow the set as you learn new techniques.
Can I use it with any yarn?
Yes, from very fine yarn to bulky.
How long does the battery last?
About 7–8 hours of continuous light per charge, and weeks for the counter alone. A charging cable is included; it charges in about 15 minutes and switches off on its own when idle.
Does it work for left-handed crocheters?
Yes. The S and R buttons are placed symmetrically.
Questions about the Stitch Book
I’ve never embroidered. Can I really do this?
Yes. You start with the simplest stitches and build up, with a step-by-step video and printed instructions for each one.
Do I need to trace or transfer patterns?
No. Every stitch and project is pre-printed on the linen, so you can unbox it and start stitching.
Is everything included?
Yes. The hoop, 24 floss colors, needles, threader, seam ripper and scissors all come in the box.
Who is it for?
Adults and teens who want to learn embroidery, and anyone looking for a calm, screen-free hobby.
